Compressor air hose
I have a little 2hp air compressor in my garage that is over twenty years old. I still had the air hose that came with it but it had leaks and was getting pretty frayed. I just happened to be looking through a tool catalog one day when I came across this air hose. I checked to see who sold this online and saw that Amazon.com did so I decided to buy it and got the 100 ft. one to replace the old 50 ft. hose. This is the best air hose I have come across and Ive been looking for awhile. What I really like is the flexibility of this air hose and how it doesn't get stiff in cold weather like a cheap garden hose. I am completely satisfied with this product and highly recommend it to any one needing a new air hose.

Junk
I'm an everyday framer and have used almost every air hose on the market. This hose is worthless. The factory ends broke in two weeks and after replacing them I literally threw this hose in the dump trailer. Buy a Flexeel or a basic rubber hose, don't waste your money.

Almost what I wanted.
I absolutely love having a retractable reel for my air compressor. It use to sit in an odd spot on a shelf and was pain to pull the hose out to where I needed often times having to move the compressor as well. The 100 feet is great and I added another 25 foot of hose to the reel.

I've found that I use my air compressor a lot now for simple tasks like using compressed air to blow out dust in areas help clean out the garage, quickly fill tires in bicycles etc. Its much handier now to also use my nail guns quickly.

Here is the almost part:

The rubber hose is pretty soft like an inner tube so it attracts dirt and grime like nothing else. This really would be good for a greasy shop that needed it for pneumatic hand tools for cars.

I'm using it more around wood working so it picks up a ton of dust and particles from the ground. When guiding it as it winds up I feel like my hands are caked in grime. I think I would rather have it using one of...

Very good
I would recommend this to everyone. It's a very good product with a great price. It's all made of good tough metal that won't bend and the hose is at good quality.
Good but leaked
The unit is solid but our hose had several
Small holes at the crimped end fitting and leaked. The crimping tool obviously missed theatre and hit the hose. An easy repair but annoying and unnecessary if they would just test these things at the factory. Another example of 90% craftsmanship in modern production.

This works quite well
The Reel came with all the required parts except adapters for my air hose fittings. Make sure that you have air line sealant or Teflon tape to seal all the air fittings before starting the job. I mounted my real on the air compressor on a piece of wood that I had bolted onto the air compressor frame. It made it much easier to have proper clearance for the handle and mount screws to hold the reel. You do need a short piece of hose with fittings to go from the compressor to the reel. I installed a female hose fitting on the reel inlet to connect the hose to, which made it easy to disconnect the hose. The reel works great. It is easy to pull the hose off and real it back on and it does not have any adjustment problems like an auto-winder. It was very easy to purchase this on Amazon and it was delivered very fast.

Disappointing
After reading the reviews I purchased one of these reels for our farm shop. I figured with the low price if it wasn't what most people claimed it wasn't a big loss. Overall the product seems to be well made but I found three things that I was disappointed in. 1. It's rated for 100' of 3/8" air hose. Evidently that's not the heavy duy hose we use as I could only get about 85' of hose on the reel no matter how careful I was in winding it. Arms need to be about 2" longer to give enough clearance for 100' of hose. 2. As mentioned in other reviews, it takes an adapter to screw the 1/4" fitting common on 3/8" hose into the 3/8" fitting on the reel. Not a big deal for us as we have a larger supply of fitting on hand but would be an inconvenience for most. 3. The screw that holds the handle on backs out when winding up the hose. A left handed bolt would have eliminated this problem or do as I did & put "Lock-tite" on the bolt threads but don't ever plan on taking it apart.
