came broken on shiping
The compressor itself did not make it in one piece,during shiping and handling. so i had to return it back. Amazon cust service was nice and promt i got my refund in 10 days

Outstanding!
These little compressors are great! Mine is two yrs old and never missed a beat. I saw these on the floor at my local hardware store and bought one. First one I bought was the oil-less version. I took it back a few days later because it vibrated the motor loose several times and the copper air line going to the tank kept leaking. Also the oil-less ones were made in china. I will not recomend that style.

However, these belt drive cast iron V cylinder type are great. Mine is on at all times and I hear it kick on once and a while. They are really air tight. I run air ratchets,impacts,grinders anything I want. It will run out of air with a grinder in a few minutes but it fills fast enough so its not a real issue. If you want one for a grinder get a 60 gallon at least. I needed it for impacts and its great!

This is built by EAGLE compressors. Mine was built in Canada. Thier site says Woods? Ive never needed service or parts so I dont know how that goes? I do know they...

Northstar Compressor
The NorthStar Compressor seems to working fine so far. It has been only 4 months. I replaced my Craftsman compressor with this one. The Craftsman compressors are all made in "China." In other words, will not last more than 1 year. Mine stopped working after 6 months. The parts are marked up SUPER HIGH. For example a power cord is $50!! A thin gasket should cost no more than $5 is $22!

Amazon uses a local shipping company here in California. They are terrible. They are unprofessional & refused to deliver the compressor on the specified day. I called them to will call the compressor. They knew I was going to pick it up & I had to wait 1 hour for them to find it.
This is after they said they had NO TRUCKS going in my direction (about 30 minutes from their local)and I would have to wait 3 days.
