No complaints
Now this is an air hose! It's overkill for everyday applications, but the quality is great. I bought one of these five years ago, and I use it to connect the compressor (in the back of the garage) to my filter and regulator (in the front of the garage) - I didn't want to bother with running pipe for such a short distance. But aside from specialty applications where you absolutely have to minimize pressure drop, this hose is more than you'll need. If, for whatever reason, you DO need a 1/2" hose, then you'll be happy with this one. Otherwise, buy the yellow 3/8" model - that's a great hose, too.

Great Hose to move large volumes of air
As the previous review stated, this hose is overkill for everyday applications, such as connecting air nailers, sanders and such to the source. I use this hose to move large volumes of air from my compressor to my regulator on the jobsite to minimize pressure drop and supply the maximum amount of air to the multiple tools connected to the regulator. That being said, if you are only going to attach tools directly to a compressor, buy the 3/8" which is lighter weight, easier to manuver and less costly. Given the size, the hose is slightly heavy to attach to a framing nailer and a little cumbersome to wrap up at the end of the day.

UPDATE - JULY 2010: Hose is still working great. No leaks. Now my oldest hose by far and used frequently.
Top quality hose, priced fairly
This 50' hose is perfect for my purposes, and was priced well below what local retailers were asking. I was advised to stay away from "no-name" brands, and this hose carries the GoodYear name at a great price.

Great compressor for the price
I bought this compressor to use for my business. It runs an average of 30 hours a week and I have had nothing but success with it. The main selling feature for this in my opinion is the oilless compressor. The quality of the Honda 5 hp engine was a bonus.

The H4X Remote Air Hub manages inbound unregulated compressed air and redistributes that air in a usable psi for your tools. By using the H4X Remote Air Hub air tools recover 4 times faster than they would when used with a standard splitter set up. With the ability to expand the number of users this unit will keep a large crew running full bore when the days are long and the work is plentiful.

The Problem

A typical splitter set up uses 50-100 feet of 3/8 or ¼ inch hose that runs from the compressor regulator to the job. Then the crew attaches additional hoses to the splitter and goes to work. With that much narrow hose it’s like trying to suck a water melon through a drinking straw. To top it all off, someone then has to go back to the compressor to fine tune the air pressure so the crew is not leaving all the nail heads sitting up. What’s the point of using a nail gun if you have to keep pulling out a hammer to finish the nails off?

The Solution

The H4X Remote Air Hub. Simply run a 1/2 inch hose directly off of the unregulated air outlet to the work area and connect the H4X Remote Air Hub. This is like bringing the compressor right into the job or on the roof. The high pressure air is right there, at your fingertips. Now just plug in a short 3/8 inch line and adjust your regulator. The combination of a large supply line, High Flow professional regulators, and close proximity of High Pressure air creates recovery times that are 4 times faster than a typical splitter set up.

H4X Remote Air Hub

The H4X comes with two high flow regulators and is expandable to four. This set up brings the full potential of unregulated air close to the job. This gives each nail gun a recovery rate that is 4 times faster than a standard splitter set up leaving fewer nail heads sitting up. Each tool can also be regulated separately from the rest. And there is no need to climb up and down ladders. Since the H4X is on the roof, the nail gun pressures can be easily tweaked. Additionally, the H4X Remote Air Hub has a plugged pass through outlet that can be used to daisy chain a second H4X.

Great compressor/arrived damaged
This is a great compressor...too bad it arrived damaged...Amazon did a horrible job packing it...its 150 pounds and they put it in a cardboard box...arrived on its back/oil leaked out/wheel fell off/cord pinched almost in half/belt cover cracked in two places...thanks Amazon...

I ordered this after having another one just like it for the past 12 years...runs quiet and very dependable...too bad they tried saving money packing it in a crappy box...should have been on a pallet/crate...

Industrial Air IV5248069 80-Gallon Air compressor
I have puchased this commercial grade Air compressor for a 4 bay automotive repair shop. We have tested it in the shop and it is quite with out any vibrations running with 5.2 hp motor, 2-stage, Cast Iron tank, single phase 230v. Now we have installed it outside the shop and we can barely here it. I do like the output control knobs on the compressor, where we have turned it down to 150 psi (it can go up to 175 psi)and we have not yet seen a need to increase the output psi.
The dual output also helps, where we can run a quick connect for some out side the bay work. With couple of air tools running, the compressor hardly kicks in for just couple of minutes - I guess the 80 Gallon tank is helping too.
We had some tough bolts on a honda and infinity and ball joints and had to run 3/4 inch tools for a while and the compressor kicked in only for a couple minutes couple of times.
I like the output psi adjustment knob, large Dials neatly in their place. I have only used it...

Best value!
I've been around a lot of REAL compressors older than I am. This compressor rock, built to last, assembled in the USA. The motor is made in china but high quality and continous duty rated! The compressor castings appear to be of the highest quality! Long story short, this is the best 115v compressor available. If it runs for its 2yr warrenty I. Have little doubt it'll last for 20yrs or more w/proper maintence!
Btw shop around, got mine for 550 but can be had for as little as 499 on regular sales.

Great Compressor for DIY at home
I live in a townhouse so the noise factor is a big deal to me. This was the right choice for me. No second thoughts about this purchase. Love using this with my IR air tools. I wanted a tough reliable compressor that would run impact guns, die grinders, air ratches, and fill tires. General auto...nuts and bolts.. and around the house and garage type chores. This machine really does the job. Tons of power, 155 psi, and it runs on 120v power. It's VERY quiet for an air compressor. The neighbors have no idea I'm in the garage with this compressor running. I'm sure they hear the air tools, but not the compressor.

Great little compressor
I've used this compressor for my basement remodel which consisted of 1500 sqft of framing. It runs my nail gun fine and is able to keep up with no problem what so ever. I would have given this compressor 5 stars but it is very noisy. You'll definitely want a pair of ear defenders.

Very effective filter/lubricator, poor instructions
-1 star for poor instructions (when I got it a year ago).

Once you figure out how to use this thing, and run some tools on it with some trial & error, it does exactly what it's supposed to very well. Something like this is a must-have for heavy air tool use.

Industrial Air Compressor 9 HP 9 GAL
I've used this compressor for about 30 hrs so far. Works very well. This is my third compressor. Both of my other compressors were DeWalts, one 5HP and one 9HP. DeWalt stopped making the gas portable compressors, so I decided on the Industrial Air as the next replacement. Below are the + and - I have. Overall I really like this compressor. The negative points are all small and are not a real issue with the engine and pump itself. Overall, I would recommend this product.

- Honda Engine works great. Between the engine and three pumps (verses standard two pumps from other companies), the RPM is lower than my other compressors and therefore more quiet.
- Customer Tech line is very helpful and I actually get a person to talk to after only a few minutes of wait time.
- One of the liquid filled pressure gauges developed a crack within a few hours of use and was leaking fluid, but when I call the Tech line in the manual, the group sent out a replacement...
