Failure to Launch
This was one of two of the same products - both delivered in completely destroyed condition. On opening each package I was greeted by shattered plastic and mangled fittings. The packing was clearly inadequate. The problem was compounded by the fact that the first one was returned only to have the second delivered in even worse condition. A Christmas present clearly not opened on Christmas morning.

Nice Little Compressor for its Intended Use
I bought this compressor at a local department/hardware store. I didn't experience any of the issues that I read about here in other reviews but that is probably because it was preassembled and checked out by the service tech at the store. When I got the compressor home and plugged in, I pulled up on the on switch and the unit started right up. It reached about 115 pounds and shut off per its design. I attached a 15 foot air line with a blow gun. I proceeded to test it and made various adjustments to the line pressure. When it dropped pressure to about 80 pounds it kicked back on and ran on up to 115 pounds again. That is all the testing I have done so far but if you use this compressor within its limits you should be happy. I am sure it will not be big enough to run an orbital sander or impact wrench but it should work fine for blowing out parts such as dirty carburetors. It will probably run a crown stapler or brad gun and will most likely pump up any automotive/motorcycle...
Missing hardware but works
Opened the box and found loose screws and washers strewn around in the packaging. The plastic housing that covers the power switch had come off as well. The only assembly required is attachment of the handle, 2 wheels and 2 rubber feet. All three of these operations were missing something; screw for the handle and one rubber foot and the axel bolt for one wheel. I made due with hardware I had on hand and got it together. The switch housing was a bit of a mystery, no fasteners of positive attachment method but the power button on top is to be pulled up "on" and pushed in "off". SInce pulling up pulls the whole cover off I am currently keeping it attached with a spring clip. I added the oil as instructed, let it run for 15 minutes then let the tank pressurize also as instructed and it seems to work fine, loudly but fine so far.
